This summer is starting off strong with summer camps for athletics. One of them is a football camp with the division 3 national football champion UMHB Crusaders.

The Cameron Yoemen baseball season came to an end at the hands of the Diboll Lumberjacks on Saturday in Game 3 of the regional semifinalts.
They were defeated in the series 2-1.
The Cameron Yoemen baseball team swept the Lorena Leopards to head on to the regional semifinals last weekend.
