The Cameron Lady Yoe girls basketball team showed improvement from last season, finishing with a record of 14-16 and a district record of 2-12.
The Cameron Yoemen were soundly defeated by Franklin, losing 76-35 on Nov. 1.
The Lions pulled away early, outscoring Cameron 35-7 in the first half.
The Lady Yoe hosted their 15th Annual Dig Pink Event this month, raising money for the Side Out Foundation.
The Cameron cross country team competed in the regional meet at Kate Barr Ross Memorial Park in Huntsville on Oct. 22.
The Lady Yoe returned home to host the Rogers Lady Eagles on Tuesday, Oct. 29, for their regular season finale. The Lady Yoe were defeated by Rogers, losing 3-1.
