Bulldogs still undefeated in District play
The Thorndale Bulldogs boys’ basketball team returned home to host the Little River Academy Bumblebees on Friday, Jan. 3. The Bulldogs were victorious and defeated the Bumblebees 59-42.

The Thorndale Lady Dogs girls’ basketball team returned home after the holidays to host the Granger Lady Lions on Tuesday, Jan. 7. The Lady Dogs were defeated by Granger 48-12.
Thorndale Volunteer Fire Deparment held Fire Safety Week last week. They visited St. Paul’s and Thorndale Elementary on Tuesday, Oct. 8.
The Thorndale Bulldogs football team traveled to take on the Mason Punchers on Friday, Oct. 11, for their district opener.
Thorndale was defeated by Mason, losing 59-14.
The Thorndale City Council passed an Ordinance on Oct. 9 increasing the water tap fee from $950 to $1,265.
This increase will go into effect on Nov. 1, 2024.
