Yoe sports tickets to go totally online beginning this fall

Those wishing to attend Yoe athletics events will have to buy tickets a little differently this year. 

The Yoe athletics department for the High School and Junior High announced they will be doing electronic sales for admission to all athletics contests. 

Information and e-mail sign ups will be held Wednesday, Aug. 10, in the High School cafeteria from 5-7 p.m. The meeting will go over the electronic process of purchasing tickets. 

Reserve ticketholders can begin purchasing their seats online Aug. 15. 

Senior passes will be available and you will have to bring an ID with a Cameron address and have been born on or before 1960 to get one.

The Yoe football team will kick off their first scrimmage Aug. 12 at Yoe Field against Taylor and conclude their scrimmage slate with a road trip to Madisonville on Aug. 18. An intrasquad scrimmage will be held Aug. 6 from 8-11 a.m. on Yoe Field. 

The annual Meet the Yoemen Ice Cream Social is set for 6 p.m. Aug. 17 in the Yoe High PAC. Cameron opens the season Aug. 26 on the road in Lago Vista.
