The City of Cameron Street Department will begin zipping and repairing the section of Jackson Street from 6th to 9th Streets on Monday, Aug. 24.
Another fatality due to COVID-19 was recorded in Milam County on Wednesday due to changes to how the state records deaths.
Milam County officials announced five new confirmed cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday.
The active case count sits at 36, with a total of 396 cases total.
