The Cameron Yoemen baseball team hosted the Troy Trojans on Wednesday, March 13. Cameron was shut out by Troy, losing 6-0. The Yoemen stayed home to host the Rogers Eagles on Tuesday, March 19.
Cameron ISD has a new head football coach and athletic director.The CISD Board of Trustees hired Aaron Babino during Monday night’s board meeting.
Yierra Flemings competed at the Texas A&M Bluebonnet High school meet on March 2. She ran the 300m hurdles with a time of 40.74 to claim the top spot and bucket hat for the event.
The Cameron Lady Yoe softball team traveled to take on the Rockdale Lady Tigers on Saturday, March 9. The Lady Yoe shut out Rockdale, winning 9-0.
Last week the Cameron boys and girls track teams hosted the 44 Farms Relays.
