Yoemen tennis places at home tournament

The Yoe High Varsity Tennis Team had a great day Wednesday at their home tournament.  

Xavier Muniz finished with the Silver Medal in Boys Singles. He had a first round bye. Second round he won against Schneider of Lexington 8-3. In the Semi Finals he won against Ranly of Rogers 8-5. In the Finals he lost to Glasgow of Rogers 8-3.

Ryan Muniz finished in third place in Boys Singles to win the Bronze Medal. In the first round he won against Liu of Rockdale 8-2. In the second round he won against Gilmore of Thrall 9-7. In the semi-finals he lost to Glasgow of Rogers 8-6. In the third place match he defeated Ranly of Rogers 9-7.

The Boys Doubles team of Nolan Brashear and Marino Cardona won First Place in Boys Doubles. They had a first round bye. In the second round they defeated Arcero/Santander of McGregor 8-2. In the semi-finals they won against Campos/Vargas of Rogers 8-0. In the finals they won against Pantoja/Sawyer of McGregor 8-1.

The Boys Doubles team of Hunter Hux and Cody Webb won the Bronze Medal in Boys Doubles. They had a first round bye. In the semi-finals they lost to Pantoja/Sawyer of McGregor. In the third place match they won against Campos/Vargas 8-2.

In Girls Doubles the team of Savannah Nejtek and Mariana Penaloza finished the day with a 2-1 Record and the team of Macie Vaculin and Camryn Green also finished the day with a 2-1 record.
