Yoemen get first win in district

They Cameron Yoemen got their first win in district play over Lexington on Friday night.

The Yoemen came out with the 54-26 win with KEVaughn Booze leading the way with 13 points.

Calvin Stewart added 10 points and Phaibian Bynaum and Zakorien Spikes each added nine in the win.

Others scoring for the Yoemen were Asiaoun Haynes with eight points, Thomas Melton with two, Brayden Hollomon with two and Brent Wright with two.

The JVA team also defeated Lexington 58-17.

The Yoemen move to 1-2 in district play and will take on McGregor at home Tuesday night.
