Yoe Trot to raise funds for state rings for Lady Yoe
This year, the Lady Yoe Track team was crowned State Champions and did so in a dominating fashion beating the second place Goliad Tigresses and third place Brock Lady Eagles by double digits.
They have received the medals, they have received the trophy, now all they need to top it off is getting State Champion rings.
On Saturday, June 26, Lady Yoe Track will host the Yoe Trot 5K color fundraiser run/walk. This event will be a fundraiser to help the team get their much deserved state champion rings.
This event will take place from 7:30–11 a.m. and will be located at the Cameron ISD track.
In addition, this fundraiser will also include a bake sale for the spectators as well. There will be a $10 charge for entry to this worthy event. You have the option of paying in person or you can also preregister by contacting Donelle Keen-Tomascik at (254) 931-9702.
All donations of any kind are accepted as the team and coaching staff hope to reach their goal of raising $1,715.
Coach Kayla Janicek and her champion track team hopes everyone can come out and attend this awesome event and to show their support for this fantastic group of kids who achieved a monumental accomplishment this year.
