Yoe Golf competes at State Tournament
The Yoe boys golf team improved their score at the UIL state golf tournament Tuesday but fell in the standings.
Cameron had a tough day in the overall standings, dropping to 11th overall to end the tourney on the final day.
That move down in the standings came about despite the team faring better overall on the scorecard.
Following a Day 1 total of 365, the team fired a 357 on the final day to post a 722 total team score. Nearly every golfer improved their score. Kaden Kuzel led the way with a 2-day total of 167. Dillan Akin finished with a 175, Karsen Galvan a 184, and Landen Greene a 196. Tate Stroud ended with a 204 score.
All players except Stroud will return next season.
