Yoe girls, boys head to Regional Cross Country Meet

The Yoe Cross Country teams will be heading on to regionals after a strong showing at the District Meet on Monday, Oct. 10.

The boys team finished in first place with a combined total of 62 points. 

Damon Flemings was the first runner for Cameron to cross the finish line, coming in third place with a time of 16:27. Next was Brady Havens, finishing in seventh with a time of 16:40. Finishing next was Joshua Jochec in ninth with a time of 16:59. Brock Wright was next, finishing 21st with a time of 18:16. Zachary Frausto was right behind him, finishing in 22nd with a time of 18:20. Cesar Munoz finished 44th with a time of 20:16. The last to finish for Cameron was Ricardo Reyes, finishing 45th with a time of 20:17.

The girls team finished in second place with a combined total of 71 points. 

Yierra Flemings was the first runner to cross the finish line, finishing third with a time of 12:46. Right behind her was Brittani Drake, finishing in fourth with a time of 12:50. Seally Smith finished 14th with a time of 13:10. Logan Pevehouse was next in 18th with a time of 13:22. Up next was Kinzie Williford, finishing in 32nd with a time of 14:06. The last to finish for Cameron was Olutumi St.Mathew-David, finishing 43rd with a time of 15:45. 

The regional meet will be on Monday, Oct. 24. It will be located in Huntsville.
