Yoe Cross Country competes at State Championships
The Yoe Cross Country team competed in the UIL 3A Sate Championships in Austin on Nov. 5.
The girls team finished in eighth place with a combined total of 220 points and the boys team finished in 11th place with a combined total of 258 points.
Yierra Flemings was the first runner for the Lady Yoe to cross the finish line, finishing 33rd with a time of 12:51. After her was Logan Pevehouse, finishing in 42nd with a time of 13:02. Brittani Drake finished 52nd with a time of 13:11. Seally Smith was next in 83rd with a time of 13:44. Up next was Kinzie Williford, finishing in 135th with a time of 14:41. The last to finish for Cameron was Olutumi St.Mathew-David, finishing 149th with a time of 16:06.
Damon Flemings was the first runner for the Yoemen to cross the finish line, coming in 27th place with a time of 17:06. Next was Joshua Jochec, finishing in 59th with a time of 17:42. Finishing next was Brady Havens in 73rd with a time of 17:57. Zachary Frausto was next, finishing 125th with a time of 19:08. Brock Wright was next to cross, finishing in 121st with a time of 19:20. Ricardo Reyes finished 142nd with a time of 19:50. The last to finish for Cameron was Cesar Munoz, finishing 146th with a time of 20:13.
