Track teams do well at Navasota

The Yoe and Lady Yoe Track teams competed in Navasota last week.

The Lady Yoe earned several first place finishes including two relays and Yierra Flemings had several first places.

The 4x100 relay team of Brittani Drake, Yierra Flemings, Lauren Harris and Crystal Daniels finished in first place. 

The 4x200 relay team of Crystal Daniels, Lauren Harris, Kennedy Banks and Brittani Drake finished in first place.

The 4x400 relay team of Camryn Ward, Lauren Harris, Kennedy Banks and Brittani Drake finished in second place.

Crystal Daniels had a third place finish in the 100-meter dash, and a fifth place finish in the high jump.

Yierra Flemings had first place finishes in the 200-meter dash, triple jump, and high jump; and a second place finish in the 800-meter run.

Camryn Ward had a third place finish in the 400-meter dash, 

Ka’Sara Brooks finished fourth place in the 100-meter hurdles

Jasmine St. Mathew Daniels finished fourth place in the 300-meter hurdles.

Amani Fields finished sixth place in the shot put.

Maverik Nix had a fourth place finish in the high jump.

Kennedy Banks had a fourth place finish in the long jump.

Brittani Drake had a sixth place finish in the long jump and a fourth place finish in the triple jump.

Delilah Lara had a second plcae finish in the pole vault.

For the JV, Ariyonna Gallman finished fourth in the shot put, sixth in the discus; Saydi Wimmer placed fourth in the high jump; Chassidy  Blaylock finished first in the 100-meter dash, third in the long jump and second in the triple jump; Zaniaya Burton placed fifth in the long jump and first in the triple jump.

The Lady Yoe will be back in action Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Thursday they will compete at Lexington and Friday and Saturday they will compete at Texas Relays.

Both boys JV and Varsity teams finished fourth in the meet.

For the Yoe Varsity the following results were reported.

Charlie Mayer placed fourth in the high jump.

Quori Hardman placed sixth in long jump, sixth in triple jump, and fifth in 200-meter.

Colby Wilson placed fourth in discus.

Brady Havens placed third in the 3200-meter run.

Joshua Jochec- placed fourth in the 3200-meter run, and fifth in 1600-meter run.

Quori Hardman, Dari Bradley, Tray Bradley, and Braylan Drake placed third in the 4x100 relay.

Damon Flemings placed first in the 800-meter, and fourth in the 1600-meter.

Dari Bradley was first in the 100-meter.

For the JV the following results were reported.

Tayshawn Perez placed fifth in long jump, and third in triple jump.

Ricardo Reyes placed first in the 3200-meter run, and first in the 1600-meter run.

Bruce Jacoby placed sixth in 3200-meter run.

Jose Laureano, Brody Aguirre, Tayshawn Perez, Byron Crittendon placed fifth in 4x100 relay, fifth in 4x200 relay.

Zach Frausto placed second in 1600-meter, and fourth in 800-meter.

Tristen Parker placed fifth in 400-meter.

Jose Laureano, Brody Aguirre, Tristen Parker, Tayshawn Perez placed fourth in 4x400 relay.
