Three Lady Yoe Powerlifters headed to State

Three Lady Yoe Powerlifters are headed to State. The girls competed in the Regional Tournament finishing second this past weekend as a team. Selene Vargas won first place in her 123-pound weight class. Yareli Contreras placed second in the 259-pound weight class and Daejanay Bell placed second in her 259+-pound weight class. 16. The Yoe Powerlifters will compete at their Regional Tournament on Saturday, March 9 in West. Boys that qualified for Regionals were: Joseph Rangel in the 132-pound weight class; Joshua Lopez in the 132-pound weight class; Fabian Solomon in the 148-pound weight class; Tyler Burt in the 181-pound weight class; Eduardo Gil in the 220-pound weight class; and Dominic Lewis in the 242-pound weight class.
