Lady Yoe drop games to Rogers, Rockdale

The Lady Yoe volleyball team took two hard losses over the week to Rogers and Rockdale.

Cameron lost in four sets to Rogers on Tuesday night by scores of 25-13, 21-25, 25-17, and 25-17. 

Ja’Kerra Holt had a big night with eight kills, 14 assists, and two blocks. 

Haley Tucker pitched in with eight kills and an ace served. 

Makaelyn Perez had 21 digs on the night and Analiese Salazar and Leah Pfeiffer each had an ace. 

The JV A team was swept 25-22 and 25-16. The JV B team won in three sets 25-22, 21-25, 15-7.

The Lady Yoe volleyball team fell to Rockdale in a close game on Friday night.

The lost in four sets 25-22, 25-23, 17-25, and 25-20. 

Holt came up big with 16 kills, a dozen assists, and 23 digs. 

Tucker grabbed 18 assists and 19 digs. 

Ainsley Driska and Salazar each had two aces served. 

The JV A lost 18-25, 25-19, 25-10. 

The JV B won 25-19, 24-26, 15-13.

The ladies will be back in action on Friday night against Academy at Yoe Gym.

They will host their annual Dig Pink event next Tuesday, Oct. 13, against Troy.
