The No. 2 Thorndale Lady Dogs (32-5) are headed to the State Softball Tournament for the first time in program history. They punched their ticket after sweeping No.
Thorndale’s Landry Laywell will make a run at defending her state tennis title, as she won the Class 2A Region IV girls single championship last week.
The Thorndale ISD School Board met on April 15 and had a lot of great news about students.
They board recognized several student groups for accomplishments during the meeting.
