MCSO provides assistance to RRPD

The Milam County Sheriff's Office provided assistance to the Round Rock Police Department on Tuesday.
According to Milam County Sheriff Mike Clore, on Oct. 17, 2023, the Milam County Sheriff’s Office was contacted by the Round Rock Police Department regarding a homicide.
RRPD investigated a homicide in their jurisdiction, arrested a suspect and received information that the victim of the homicide was disposed of in Milam County. After a search in the area of Buckholts (FM 1915 and CR 408) the decedent was located.
The Milam County Sheriff’s Office assisted in an auxiliary capacity. Thanks to the Buckholts Fire Department for their assistance. There is no danger to the public.
