New K9 Officer

The Milam County Sheriff’s Office has a new K9 Handler. Deputy Josh Perez and his new partner, Levi, have completed the K9 Handler’s Course with Worldwide Canine Inc, in Boerne.  The intensive course consisted of instruction in the operation of narcotics detection, tracking, patrol and apprehension function. Levi is considered a dual purpose K9.  The K9 team began their first shift last week.
