Havens finishes fifth at regionals

The Cameron Yoe wrestling team competed in the 5A regional meet in Anna on Friday, Feb. 11.
Brady Havens competed in the 138-pound weight class. He won three matches and lost two and finished a respectable fifth place in the regional tournament. Every match was a fight to the finish. He has been listed as an alternate for the state meet.
Jordan Wells got revenge on a wrestler from Pflugerville Hendrickson that beat him at district. Overall, he finished in eighth in the 160-pound weight class.
Joshua Jochec competed in the 120-pound class. He lost his both of his two matches and did not advance in the brackets.
The state tournament will be on Feb. 18 and 19 at the Barry Center in Cypress.
