Several GOP candidates file for March primaries

Several candidates filed with the Milam County Republican Party to run in the March primaries last week.
Milam County GOP Chairman Warren Matous reported that the first day of filing was a busy one.
Those filing to run in the March primary were James Denman and Wyatt Dude Ferris for Precinct 2 Commissioner; Wesley Payne and Johnny Andrews for Precinct 4 Commissioner; Andy Isaacs for Precinct 3 Justice of the Peace; Sam Berry for Precinct 2 Justice of the Peace; Mike Clore for Milam County Sheriff; Greg Hoelscher for Precinct 1 Justice of the Peace; Karen Berry for District Clerk; Bill Whitmire and Steve Young for Milam County Judge; and Jodi Mendoza Morgan for County Clerk.
The Milam County Democratic Party did not report any filings.
