Yoemen fall to Malakoff in game two of Regional Finals

Cameron Yoe Varsity lost the lead late in a 6-4 loss to Malakoff on Friday night in the Regional Finals. 

The game was tied at four with Malakoff batting in the bottom of the fifth when an error scored one run for Malakoff.

The Yoemen got things started in the first inning. Dillan Akin grounded out into a double play, scoring one run.

Hustead got the win for Malakoff. The hurler lasted two innings, allowing one hit and zero runs while walking one. 

Tracer Lopez took the loss for Cameron. Lopez went one inning, allowing five runs on two hits.

Landon Greene started the game for Cameron Yoe Varsity. The righty surrendered two runs on three hits over four innings, striking out three

Brannon McCall, Greene, Bobby Borgas, Lopez, and Ryan Host each collected one hit to lead the Yoemen.

The loss ends a great season for the Yoemen. They were 29-9 on the season. The future is very bright for Yoe baseball.
