Rumble in the Park planned in Rockdale

The Rockdale Fair Association is bringing new fun to Rockdale on June 11 and June 12 featuring the Texas Truck and Tractor Pull at the rodeo arena at Fair Park.  

Friday night the pull will begin at 7 p.m. with dancing under the stars from 8-12 p.m. with music provided by The Other Band. On Saturday the fun begins with a Steak cook-off with cook’s choice category and set up starts at 10 a.m.

There will be bounce houses for the children and food booths through out the day and evening.  Come early and look at all the cool trucks and tractors that will be competing.  

The pull on Saturday will begin at 6 p.m. 

The evening entertainment will also include a dance with music provided by The Billy Holt Band.  Tickets will be sold at the gate for adults are $15; children 6-12 are $5; 5 and under free.
