Yoemen to face Elkhart in first round of baseball playoffs

Yoemen Bi-District playoff information:

Game 1 - Friday, May 7, at Elkhart - 7 p.m.

Game 2 - Saturday, May 8, in Cameron at The Yards - 1 p.m.

Game 3 (if necessary) - Saturday, May 8, in Cameron at The Yards -  3 p.m.

The Yoemen took care of the Rogers Eagles 7-3 on Friday night to claim the District 19-3A title.

Ryan Host got the victory for the Yoemen surrendering zero runs on two hits over three innings, striking out one and walking one.

Brannon McCall started the game of the Yoemen allowing five hits and three runs over four innings and striking out one.

Bobby Borgas led the Yoemen with two hits and three at bats.

The game was tied at three with the Yoemen batting in the bottom of the fifth win Dillan Akin singled on a 2-1 count, scoring two runs to win the game.
