City of Cameron garbage pick up update

Trash Service Update 2/19/2021

The roads are still too hazardous for Waste Connections vehicles to drive on.  Temperatures have not been high enough to melt the ice on roadways.  While most major roadways are somewhat clear to drive, residential streets are still very icy.  We are going to suspend the previously delayed schedule for Friday and Saturday, and proceed with regularly scheduled services next week starting on Monday.

Waste Connections will service all that is out at the curb to recover for the days without waste service and sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this unprecedented artic storm has caused and their inability to service the City because of it. Keeping employees and the citizens safe is the upmost importance to us at this time.  Thank you for your understanding of the situation we are in and we vow to make we will overcome the challenges ahead next week.
