Lady Dogs grab another district win
The Thorndale Lady Dogs (13-6, 6-2) grabbed another District 25-2A win on Tuesday night and have all but guaranteed themselves trip to the postseason.
Thorndale defeated Thrall 66-22 at Bulldog Gym and with just two games remaining, should finish in the top four of the final league standings at the end of the week.
Against Thrall, Makayla Lafferty led the Lady Dogs with 16 points, joined in double digits by Abby Dickerson with 12.
Bailee Baker scored nine points, with Kelsey Kovar and Kyndal Robinson putting up eight points each. Ashley Pesl and Kinley Meadors recorded four points apiece, with Kassidy Eubanks collecting three and Natalie Deary adding two.
The Lady Dogs were set to play at Holland on Wednesday after Champion press time to make up for a rescheduled game from Jan. 29.
Thorndale is set to finish up their district scheduled on Friday at Granger.
