St. Paul fundraiser set for Feb. 21

St. Paul Lutheran Church and School in Thorndale will hold its annual BBQ brisket meal and live auction fundraiser on Sunday, Feb. 21, at the Thorndale Firemen’s Hall on FM 486 North.

Due to the pandemic – things will look a little different this year.

The meal will be drive thru only.

Plates will be $12 each from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. 

Meal will include BBQ brisket with BBQ sauce, noodles, pinto beans, potato salad, cole slaw, pickles, onions, bread and a dessert.  For Senior Citizens Delivery call (512) 924-0151 in advance.

The live auction featuring hand-crafted items, baked goods, canned goods and many other items will be held inside the hall with social distancing and all other safety precautions in place.  

The doors will open at 12:30 p.m. to view auction auction items and it will begin at 2 p.m. To donate auction items contact Marilyn Johnson at (512) 862-4419.
