Gil, Bynaum top District 11-3A honor lists

Several Cameron Yoe Football players were lauded for their efforts on the field and named to the District 11-3A all-district list.

Senior Defensive Lineman Eduardo Gil was named the District Defensive MVP and junior return man Phaibian Bynaum was picked as the Return Specialist of the Year.

First team all-district selections went to wideouts Za`Korien Spikes and Pharrell Hemphill and linebacker Fabian Salomon. 

Named to the second team were linebackers Landon Greene and Colton Barbo and defensive back Iverson Braziel. 

Honorable Mention went to Armondo Reyes, Trenton Nix, Randy Flores, Keshon Johnson, Kason Goolsby, Hunter Hux, Colby Arney, Zane Zeinert, and Jesse Martinez. Picked to Academic All-District were Dillan Akin, Barbo, Nolan Brashear, Bynaum, Jeremiah Cercerez, Kash Gelner, Greene, Hux, Angel Martinez, Ryan Muniz, Nix, Salomon, Spikes, and Zeinert. 

In addition senior Kash Gelner was chosen as academic all-state.
