Milano Junior High OAP Wins

Milano Junior High’s One-Act Play took first place at the district contest held Dec. 18 at the Cultural Activities Center in Temple. The group performed “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever” by Barbara Robinson. Several company members won individual acting awards and MJH was also awarded the “best crew” award. Earning top district overall performers were Taylor Wall and Mallory Miller. Awarded all-star cast were Gretchen Bui, Rayelee Keen and Baylee Wall. Those earning honorable mention all-star cast were: Daniel Frei, Karley Hairston, Bryson Hughes and Breyton Steinbecker. Best crew award winners were: Abran Ruiz, Samuel Ybarra, Kaniyha Myers and Andres Ruelas. The group was directed by Susan Meyer and Sherry LaGrone.
