Lady Yoe get big wins over the weekend

The Lady Yoe basketball team kicked off their season on a high note with back-to-back wins. 

Cameron earned a nice win against Lake Belton on Friday 46-39.

Cameron saw Ja’Kerra Holt put up 23 points in the winning effort.

Cameron then quickly turned around and squeaked past Burton on Saturday morning 36-32 to improve to 2-0 on the year.

Akasha Evans had 11 points and Aliya Salazar nine to pace Cameron in the win.

The ladies face Giddings Tuesday night at home. 

The JV fell in a tough one 43-23 against Lake Belton.
