Lady Yoe sweep two opponents to move to 6-4

The Lady Yoe volleyball earned two sweeps of their opponents over the last week.

The ladies swept Mumford on Tuesday night, winning 25-16, 25-13, 25-12. 

Haley Tucker had eight kills and 17 assists. Ja’Kerra Holt grabbed three blocks and five serving aces. Makaelyn Perez also had five aces served. 

Leah Pfeiffer helped out with seven digs on the night. 

The JV A team did not play and the JV B team fell 25-4, 12-25, 25-9. 

The ladies also swept Lampasas on Friday night winning 25-23, 25-20, and 25-13. 

Tucker had a huge night with 11 assists, 10 digs, and five aces. Makaelyn Perez picked up 10 kills and Ja’Kerra Holt had a pair of blocks. 

The 6-4 Lady Yoe are set to face Somerville on Friday night at Yoe Gym. Games begin at 4:30 p.m.
