The Cameron Volunteer Fire Department held its annual giveaway fundraiser on Saturday, Feb. 8, at the Williams Center. The event is the biggest fundraiser for the department during the year.
The Milam County Commissioners and Milam County Historical Commission honored a longtime advocate for historical preservation on Monday during the Commissioner Court meeting.
The utilities department for the City of Cameron will undergo some staffing changes this spring.
Early voting begins for the March primary election on Tuesday, Feb. 18, and continues through Feb. 28.
