Two new COVID-19 cases, testing set in Cameron today

Two new cases of COVID-19 were reported in Milam County yesterday.

Milam County Judge Steve Young made the announcement early this morning.

There are 90 confirmed cases of the virus in the county, 21 active cases, 59 individuals being monitored by the Health Department.

A total of 259 individuals have been monitored since the first case back on March 21. There are three hospitalized right now and 11 total hospitalizations since March 21.

There has been one fatality.

There were 107 tested in Milano yesterday. There will be testing in Cameron today at the Cameron FIre Station from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Call (512) 883-2400 to make an appointment.
