Race for Precinct 2 Commissioner has three candidates

There is now a three-way race for Milam County Commissioner Precinct 2 as Doug Baker has filed to run against James Denman and Wyatt Dude Ferris for the position.

Several candidates filed with the Milam County Republican Party to run in the March primaries in November.

Milam County GOP Chairman Warren Matous reported that the following have filed to run in March: Doug Bake, James Denman and Wyatt Dude Ferris for Precinct 2 Commissioner; Wesley Payne and Johnny Andrews for Precinct 4 Commissioner; Andy Isaacs for Precinct 3 Justice of the Peace; Sam Berry for Precinct 2 Justice of the Peace; Mike Clore for Milam County Sheriff; Greg Hoelscher for Precinct 1 Justice of the Peace; Karen Berry for District Clerk; Bill Whitmire and Steve Young for Milam County Judge; and Jodi Mendoza Morgan for County Clerk.

So far there have been no filings reported for the Democrats.
