Mike Clore announces candidacy for Milam County Sheriff
Mike Clore has announced his intention to seek the GOP nomination for Milam County Sheriff, in the 2022 primary election. Clore filed his appointment of campaign treasurer with the Milam County Clerk’s Office and for a place on the March 2022 Primary Ballot on Nov. 13, 2021.
“I am seeking the Republican nomination based on my conservative beliefs, which include hard work, personal ethics, fiscal responsibility and strong family values. I am committed to working cooperatively with the voters of Milam County.”
Clore has served Milam County over 21 years as a patrol deputy sheriff, traffic enforcement and highway interdiction deputy, patrol supervisor, criminal investigator, narcotics agent, Lieutenant, Captain, Chief Deputy and is currently appointed as Sheriff. Clore currently maintains a Master Texas Peace Officer’s License for Law Enforcement.
“It brings me great pleasure to announce my candidacy to run for Milam County Sheriff, the position I currently hold.” Clore said, “Since taking over this past March, I’ve taken great strides to make this office the finest in the state. I’ve served the citizens of Milam County for over 21 years and am humbled by the support I’ve received since taking office. With your continued support, I will serve you with dignity, honesty and integrity and strive to keep Milam County safe”
He plans on building, improving, and maintaining the relationships with the citizens of Milam County, fellow county and city employees, and visitors within our county.
