District court Report

Under the direction of Bill Torrey, the Milam County District Attorney, the following felony cases were resolved in Judge John W. Youngblood’s 20th Judicial District Court, for the period of Jan. 2-4, 2019:

Stacey Hall Brewer, 33, of Rockdale, was sentenced to two years confinement in the State Jail Division of TDCJ, probated for five years with standard conditions of probation including 99 days confinement in the Milam County Jail and was ordered to pay a $2,500 fine and $180 restitution to the DPS Drug Lab after pleading guilty to a State Jail Felony, Possession of Controlled Substance Less than One Gram Darnell Benson Jr., 25, of Rockdale, was placed on three years Deferred Adjudication with standard conditions of felony substance abuse conditions and was ordered to pay a $2,500 fine and $360 restitution to the DPS Drug Lab after pleading guilty to a Second Degree Felony, Possession of Controlled Substance 4-400 Grams Haley Madison Lowrey, 19, of Katy, was placed on two years Deferred Adjudication with standard conditions of probation and was ordered to pay a $500 fine and restitution of $21,586 to the victim in conjunction with her co-defendants after pleading guilty to a Lesser Included Class A Misdemeanor, Attempted Burglary of Building Kathryn Margaret Trevino, 53, of Moody, was placed on five years Deferred Adjudication with standard conditions of probation and was ordered to pay a $2,500 fine and $21,586 restitution to the victim in conjunction with her co-defendants after pleading guilty to a Second Degree Felony, Lesser Included Burglary of Habitation Michael Don Hamilton, 46, of Belton, was placed on five years Deferred Adjudication with standard conditions of probation and was ordered to pay a $2,500 fine and $21,586 restitution to the victim in conjunction with his co-defendants after pleading guilty to a Second Degree Felony, Lesser Included Burglary of Habitation Loggan Bayley Pedigo, 20, of Katy, was placed on five years Deferred Adjudication with standard conditions of probation and was ordered to pay a $2,500 fine and $21,586 restitution to the victim in conjunction with his co-defendants after pleading guilty to a Second Degree Felony, Lesser Included Burglary of Habitation Dvontrea Darnell White, 26, of Rockdale, was placed on three years Deferred Adjudication with standard conditions of felony substance abuse probation including the successful completion of a drug education course and was ordered to pay a $2,500 fine and restitution of $180 to the DPS Drug Lab after pleading guilty to a Third Degree Felony, Possession of Controlled Substance 1-4 Grams
