COVID UPDATE: County records second death due to COVID

A second Milam County resident has died from COVID-19.
Milam County Judge Steve Young said this morning that a second resident has died from the virus. The new death is said to be an elderly patient, but it is unknown if there were underlying medical conditions.
Young also said four more cases were confirmed, bringing the total case count to 191, 55 are considered active. The Milam County Health Department is monitoring 133 people. Four people are hospitalized, including a child.
