COVID UPDATE: County cases up to 157 with 57 active

Milam County Judge Steve Young has announces eight new cases of COVID-19 in the county.
There are now 157 confirmed cases with 57 active cases. The county is monitoring 126 people.
Six people are hospitalized.
Yiung said the test results from the state testing in the county on June 29, June 30 and July 1 came in yesterday as well.
There were 393 total tests, 242 were Milam County residents, and 35 individuals tested positive. He said 15 of those have already been added to the total case count. The remaining 20 will be contacted over the weekend.
