COVID UPDATE: Cases on the rise, but active count down
Milam County saw a big spike in confirmed COVID-19 cases over the weekend, but active cases are on a downward trend.
There are currently 240 confirmed cases, that is up 23 since Friday morning. But there are only 51 active cases, down eight cases from Friday.
There are 126 individuals being monitored by the health department, with four hospitalized, and still only two fatalities.
The Health Department releases new demoraphics of those with the virus on Friday.
The 20 - 49 age groups represent 52 percent of the total cases in the county. The birth - 19 years of age represents 10 percent of the total positives.

0-9 = 1%
10-19 = 9%
20-29 = 18%
30-39 = 16%
40-49 = 18%
50-59 = 14%
60-69 = 11%
70-79 = 4%
80-89 = 7%
90-99 = 2%
