COVID cases on decline

Active case counts for COVID-19 are slowing in Milam County.

Milam County Judge Steve Young indicated that active virus cases are holding at 17. The countywide death toll since the pandemic began stands at 98. Two people are hospitalized with one of those on a ventilator and in serious condition. 

Vaccination clinics will be today from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the former Rockdale medical clinic, and Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Davilla Community Center. All clinics are open to residents at least 12 years of age and shots are free. Walk-ins are welcome.
