City update on tree limb pick up

The City of Cameron has given an update on the pick up for tree limbs from the winter storm around town.

In a Facebook post they said the following:

Please only put limbs. No other material. All limbs have been picked up East of Jackson Avenue. Crews are currently on East 15th Street to East 21st Street between Jackson to Burns Avenue. Crews will then move to East 13th to 21st Street from Washington Avenue to Fannin Avenue.

This is a very slow process because of the amount of limbs. We appreciate your patience as we move city-wide.

Crews will only be making one pass. If crews have been in your area, you may still take limbs only to the dump site at the river. Gates will be open weekdays 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Crews are using equipment so if you do not want equipment in/near your yard, you may take limbs to the dump site at the river.
