Cameron water bills will be late this month

The City of Cameorn would like to let residents know your water bill is not late, they haven't been sent out yet.

The April water utility billing is still being processed. The City of Cameron has not mailed out utility bills yet. There will not be late fees nor cut offs due to this issue as well as the Covid-19 crisis. City clerks are diligently working on your utility billing system making sure it is accurate and operational before bills are mailed to customers as usual.

  • The City of Cameron is in the process of creating your utility bills.
  • You will receive a bill in the mail as usual.
  • Your bill will not be considered late this month.
  • Due to COVID-19 the doors will remain closed to the public and the city will not be accepting cash. For questions or an appointment, you may call 254-697-6646.

Once you receive a utility bill in the mail you may pay by one of the following methods:

  • Mail a check or money order to PO Box 833
  • Use city drop off box located in front of city hall

DO NOT DROP OFF CASH, ONLY CHECK OR MONEY ORDER

  • Bank draft (same as the previous service)
  • You may pay your bill online, www.camerontexas.net
  • Pay by phone with credit or debit card: 833-271-0807

The city hall staff have been working diligently during this COVID-19 crises to reenter data that was lost through ransomware.  We hope that our customers will understand the delay of services and know that we are doing everything possible to keep this from ever happening again.
