Cameron Police Department to host LTC course
The Cameron Police Department will be hosting a License to Carry Class at the Cameron Police Department on Saturday, Feb. 22, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Classroom will be from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. and then the course will move to the Cameron Police Department Range for the weapon proficiency test.
Those interested in taking the LTC Course will need to go by the Cameron Police Department to sign up. The course is open to the first 40 people to sign up. An alternate list will be kept in case someone would not be able to attend. Please bring government issued ID - Texas Drive License or ID.
This course is at no cost to you. The Cameron Police Department will take donations to help fund further community service activities.
You will have to provide the following: weapon that you wish to carry - semi auto pistol or modern double action revolver cylinder must be on a hinge) in good working condition; eye, ear protection; a minimum of 50 rounds of factory loaded ammo in the correct caliber for your weapon. Preferably 100 rounds.
An information sheet will be provided when you sign up for the class.
