Cameron ISD cancels classes for remainder of week

Cameron ISD Has announced that classes are cancelled for the remainder of the week

CISD Superintendent Kevin Sprinkles said that in an abundance of caution and keeping the health and safety of our students, parents, staff and community members as our top priority during this inclement weather, Cameron ISD will remain closed through Friday, Feb. 10.

"There are many families without electrical power or water during this time," Sprinkles said. "The district's thoughts are with those struggling to deal with the issues caused by this weather event. Cameron ISD looks forward to next Monday to welcome back our students and to provide an outstanding educational experience for the young people of our community. Stay warm and stay safe."
