Cameron FunFest and BBQ Shootout returns May 7

The Cameron Funfest and BBQ Shootout will return to Ledbetter Park on May 7-8.

Working for Cameron will host the eighth annual event with fun for the whole family.

The event will include the BBQ Competition, a Beer & Brat Trot 5K, Kid Fish, arts and crafts, horseshoe and washer tournaments, and free live music during the Party in the Park on Friday night featuring Cody Widner and The Lone Star Souvenirs.

The 5K run will begin at 8:30 a.m. with Kid Fish to begin at 10 a.m.

Registration for the corn hole tournament will begin at 10 a.m. Bags fly at 11 a.m. Horseshoes will begin at 11 a.m. and washers at 2 p.m.

There will be arts and crafts throughout the day.
