Brown Santa Golf Tourney set for July 16

Milam County Sheriff Mike Clore and the Department`s Brown Santa Program will be hosting the 12th annual Brown Santa Golf Tournament, Saturday, July 16. 

The program was established in 2009 by the late Milam County Sheriff David Greene, to accept donations and other charitable items to provide Christmas gifts to low income families throughout Milam County.

The tournament will be held at Cameron Country Club. Tee times will be at 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. Food, drinks, and prizes will be provided. The tourney is also accepting hole sponsorships at $100 per hole. 

Those wishing to make donations can make them at the sheriff`s office. A silent and live auction is scheduled and there will be various other challenges throughout the day. For questions, call (254) 627-1270.
