ArtWalk planned for June 11

Cameron’s first ArtWalk Second Saturday event is planned for June 11 in downtown Cameron on the Square.

Artists from Houston, Dallas, Austin, and Central Texas will be showcasing artwork. In addition, Anguspaul and Melton Guthrie, two local artists, are inviting fellow artists for a great show.

Join in between 4-10 p.m. at 206 South Central in downtown Cameron.

Sip on a glass of wine, beer, or other beverage while viewing art that will touch your soul. Then, listen to great music and sample some great food.

Next, tour the Railfan on Main buildings to view updated renovations! Then, stroll through the Old Town Cameron Railroad Museum for a close view of replicas of the buildings in Cameron in the 1940s before they are back in the railroad layout and other exhibitors.

Sit back and enjoy the day. Visit with the artists and find your inspiration. Triple C Winery, HC Charcuterie, Coffee Bar, and more will be on hand to create an extraordinary downtown event. Enjoy the beautiful downtown square.

Commissions received from the sales will be awarded to Milam County Youth Scholarships in November at the ArtWalk Gala in Cameron. Students will need to complete an application to be reviewed to be selected for the awarding of art supplies to continue their artist pursuit.

Event sponsors are Railfan on Main, Bailey Financials Solutions, and Cameron Area Chamber of Commerce.
