Chamber welcomes Neeley Fine Art Gallery

The Cameron Chamber of Commerce welcomed local artist Pamela Neeley with a Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting recently. Chamber members joined Pamela and friends in cutting the red ribbon to officially open Neeley Fine Art Gallery, located just north of Cameron. “I made so many ceramic pieces, I had no space to work in the Studio,” Neeley said. “The Gallery provides a display space that allows people to easily find their favorites, and I have a work area.”

Pamela is a studio potter - always experimenting, producing unique pieces or a small number of similar pieces in a series. The Gallery displays  functional porcelain items and sculpture. They are decorated by hand, using under glazes, glazes, drawings, stencils, decals, applique, resist and texture. Out in the landscape, in the flowerbeds and on porches are colorful, whimsical Totem Stacks - ranging from 4’ to 6’. These are a collection of individual pieces, also made by hand or thrown on the potter’s wheel, {with hand decorations including drawings, stencils, decals, applique, resist and texture}. The Gallery has no scheduled hours, so when you wish to visit, please call ahead for the best times. Call Neeley Art Gallery at (254) 697-6916 or (254) 482-0822. Facebook and website are under construction and will be available soon.
