Summer Reading Program registration begins in June

Summer reading program registration begins the first week in June, with our first official program being offered on Monday evening, June 17, at 6 p.m. Games and puzzles and crafts will be out for the children to use during all hours that the library is open. Books added to our shelves this week include: “Night Moves” by Jonathan Kellerman – book 33 in the Alex Delaware series; “The American Agent” by Jacqueline Winspear – book 15 in the Maisie Dobbs series; “What Would Maisie Do?” by Jacqueline Winspear – an extra Maisie Dobbs book; “The Path Made Clear” by Oprah Winfrey; “The Cornwalls are Gone” by James Patterson; “The Last Second” by Catherine Coulter – book 6 in the A Brit in the FBI series; “Spy Pilot” by Francis Gary Powers, Jr. and Keith Dunnavant (autographed copy donated by Lynn Hagan); “Dark Tribute” by Iris Johansen – book 24 in the Eve Duncan series; and “Wild Card” by Stuart Woods – book 49 in the Stone Barrington series. The Cameron Public Library is located at 304 E. 3rd Street, in Cameron, Texas. The library is open Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Public computers are available from 10 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. – citizens with a Cameron library card or a valid photo ID may use the computers; students may sign in with their student identification from Cameron ISD.
